A university Degree or equivalent professional qualification.

CAMPUS FACILITIES

Library:
Well-stocked Library and Business Information Centre on the Blackrock campus with space for 120 students
Access to the library at the main UCD campus at Belfield with space for 2,000 students
Online access to ABI INFORM, European Intelligence Wire, Infotrac, Euromonitor, Swetsnet and many more research sources

Resources include 14,000 books, 350 current periodicals, 3,000 Irish and UK company and other reports. There’s also an extensive range of electronic resources with access to over 3,000 business-related journals and some 7 million periodical articles.

The library is open from Monday to Friday during term time, from 9.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9.30 am to 1 p.m. Saturday opening is extended during exam periods.

Students who are preparing a thesis can avail of an advisory and information service by appointment.

Location:
Smurfit School is located 10 km south of the centre of Dublin in the seaside suburb of Blackrock overlooking Dublin Bay. The campus is just a few minutes walk from the centre of Blackrock, which boasts excellent shopping facilities, bars and restaurants.

The village is just 10 kilometres from the centre of Dublin, one of Europe’s most popular destinations. Here you’ll be within easy reach of Dublin’s bustling shopping and entertainment centres via DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) or bus, as well as of the countryside and beach. It’s an ideal location that demonstrates Dublin's unique position as a world capital that’s small enough to be hospitable.
The principal campus of University College Dublin is just over 3km away, at Belfield, connected by a scheduled bus service.

The campus

The 25-acre parkland campus of the Smurfit School offers a mature, cordial friendly and relaxed atmosphere. As well as academic facilities, accommodation for 180 students is available in single rooms with shared bathroom and self-catering facilities. The mixture of residential and off-campus accommodation lends a distinctly friendly and sociable atmosphere to the School. Accommodation is also available on the main campus at Belfield.
