History:
The International University was founded in 1884 as
an independent institution offering students a high quality
education. We are based in Philadelphia and are proud
to state that we are the largest and oldest University
in the region.
Mission:
Our goal is to produce business leaders with vision,
technical and interpersonal skills necessary to cope with
the demands of a world-wide business community.
Accreditation :
Accredited by AACSB (International Association in
Management Education), ACICS since 1901.
International exposure:

PROFILE |

All courses have been newly developed and taught from
a global and comparative perspective. The educational
approach is international, comprehensive and truly global.
Teaching methods include case-studies, lectures, simulations,
role plays, research projects. Students have a choice
of 8 electives in addition to 12 core courses. Courses
are offered in marketing, finance, accounting, operations,
strategy and IT.

How to apply:
Send completed application form including statement of
professional plans and goals, reference reports, university
transcripts, application fees and course description to
one of the IMBA program offices. Do not send GMAT and
TOEFL score reports with application. Applicants must
request ETS that send scores directly to The International
University. There is limited enrolment and admissions
are on a rolling basis, so apply early. Final decision
depends on application evaluation.
Admission criteria:
Academic background required: A Bachelor's degree
or equivalent (BAC+4 in French)
Tests Required: GMAT, TOEFL for non-native English
speakers
GMAT score range:550-700
TOEFL score range: 600 ³ 700
Work experience required: 24 months. However
we consider fresh graduates if they show exceptional maturity
levels
Other: If your application is approved you will
be invited for personal interview.

| CAMPUS FACILITIES |
|
Library:
Our
library has over 1.7 million books, 1.000 business periodicals
and newspapers. In additions there are also woks related
to the programs of study offered at the university. A
professional librarian is there to help students in effectively
use the library.
Computer lab:
There are hundreds of networked computers in the main
computer building. It is also equipped with CD-Rom and
State-of-the-art software for research and study.
Housing:
On
campus accommodation is offered. We also have we have
an international student office which takes care of private
housing and advice
Location:
Philadelphia -the second largest city on the US east coast-
has a city centre which is less than 2 miles away from
the campus. The city offers a wide range of activities
for everybody.
Additional information:
The International University also has campuses in Japan,
Spain and Italy. Students have an option to transfer from
campus to campus
International exposure:
Our faculty members have wide experience and come from
different parts of the world. Some of them have published
books, where others published articles in leading economic
magazines and newspapers.
