Each country has its own educational system, degrees and levels of classification.
We can, however, separate the different systems into three categories: undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate.

undergraduate = 2-3 years,
graduate = 4 years, and
postgraduate = 5-8 years.

This is the most commonly accepted system of academic level measurement ; the exception is the United States and Canada, who run by a slightly different classification system:

undergraduate = 4 years,
graduate = 5 years,
and postgraduate = 6-8 years.
