Measures competency in English when English
is not your mother tongue.
It is primarily a multiple-choice test,
in 4 parts: Listening, Structure, Reading, Writing (test of written
EnglishTWE)
The results are reported in points.
Maximum: 300 points
Minimum: 40 points
Be aware that the scoring system changed
in 1998, when computerized testing was introduced.
The maximum of 677 points on the paper-based
test is converted to 300 points on the computerized test, and
the minimum of 310 points converts to 40 points.
Date of exam: all year (It is possible
to register by telephone, fax, mail, Internet.)
