Exams and fees
Exams are offered once a year, usually during the first two weeks of May. Registration fees come to 500 Belgian Francs (BEF) or 27.50 NLG (¤12.39/$11) per partial test (one competence) or 2000 BEF or 110 NLG (¤49.57/$44) for a complete exam (four competences).
Registrations must be received in Louvain-la-Neuve before March 15.
Candidates who cancel can get a reimbursement if the Commission of exams considers the reason justified.

Complete and partial certificates

A COMPLETE CERTIFICATE is awarded to candidates passing four tests at the same level. A PARTIAL CERTIFICATE is awarded to candidates who pass one or several partial tests.

For each test, the certificate includes one of the following distinctions: 'zeer goed' (very good), 'goed' (good), 'ruim voldoende' (satisfactory plus), 'voldoende' (satisfactory).

Candidates who do not pass can retake the test or tests at a later session.

After receiving the four partial certificates for the same level, candidates can obtain the corresponding complete certificates from the office at Louvain-la-Neuve. Candidates must take the initiative to produce the four partial certificates.
