Argentina is one of the most expensive countries in South America.
Median Salary: 586 pesos monthly ($586/€650), but with a big disparity between the regions: in the north, 400 pesos ($400/€444); in Patagonia, 710 pesos ($710/€788); in the northwest, barely 397 pesos ($397/€441). (Official figures INDEC)
