Educational infrastructure
Universities are composed of different
schools or faculties, such as engineering, law, science,
computer science, business, etc. You might find some twenty
schools in the same university. Universities can also be
composed of institutes.
In general, there are three possibilities
for taking a course (for a duration of four months to a
year):
- Intensive courses: closely supervised, reinforced by practical
work and partial exams. Do not usually include a final exam.
- Regular courses: include partial and final exams.
- Free-form courses: do not include regular classes or partial
exams; but culminate with final exams, both written and
oral.
