 ARGENTINA

Health information

In general sanitary conditions are satisfactory and modern. The precautions to take are the same as in any subtropical country. In the north, for instance, there is always the risk of cholera and dengue. Remember that there are four seasons in Argentina, and territories in the extreme south. Also remember the effects of altitude. Argentina has the highest mountain in the Western hemisphere: Aconcagua is 6,959 meters high!
