government.
The necessary steps to pursue your studies in Australia
are long and complex, and so it is best to prepare your
trip a year in advance.
Programs designed for foreigner
Foundation Studies Programme:
This program is designed for students that have
already completed a secondary education but hold a diploma
that is not at the acceptable level to apply directly to
a university.
AIM: To better understand the Australian educational
system and to improve ones english.
DURATION: 1 or 2 semesters
Required level to apply: secondary education diploma
Once a student has successfully passed this program, they
are then qualified to apply to any Australian university
of their choice.
Partnership agreements:
The Study Abroad Program:
This program is offered by all Australian universities
in order to welcome the highest number of foreign students.
For this program there is a possibility of receiving a
scholarship of 5 OOO $A (per semester).
AIM: Permits undergraduate or graduate students to follow
the courses of their choice. The credits earned during this
program allow the student to continue their studies within
the Australian educational system.
The program does not grant an Australian diploma but one
that is an equivalent and which is recognized in
the country origin.
DURATION: 1 or 2 semesters
COST: same as a tuition fee
CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION: You must have already completed
one year of higher education in an institution which is
a part of an agreement with the Australian institution.
Exchange programs:
Australian universities that have signed exchange and
diploma equivalency agreements with foreign universities.
The cost to participate in the exchange programs is the
same amount as in the country of origin and the diploma
awarded is equivalent to the country of origin.
