 AUSTRALIA

Finding accomodation

Information: Each university has a Housing Service whose purpose is to help students find accommodation.

Housing options:
• Student Village  (located on campus): The cost for this accommodation depends on the services offered (100-300 A$ per week). In the Student Village there are a limited number of places, so try and apply as soon as possible.
• Off-campus Accommodation: Renting a shared an apartment with other students (60-100 A$ per week). This is a very popular option amongst Australian students.
• Home Stay: Accommodation with an Australian family. This option is cheap and allows students to learn about and have a closer experience with Australian culture. (150-200 A$ week includes two meals: breakfast and dinner).
