 AUSTRIA

Inscription fees and conditions

The application forms can be acquired directly from the admissions services at the university of interest (Studienabteilung). In most universities this form must be completed and sent by September 1st at the latest to register for the winter semester or for the year, or February 1st at the latest to register for the summer semester.

In addition to this application form (which can be downloaded from the websites of most universities), the following documents will be required (depending on the university this list can vary):

- A certificate of secondary education with all the subjects studied and the grades awarded.

- For international students starting their university studies, a document proving that the student was accepted to a university in their country for the same degree that they intend to study in Austria.

- For students continuing their studies in Austria, documents, diplomas or certificates stating the courses followed and the diplomas awarded in their country.

All these documents presented must be original and authenticated by the competent authorities (embassy ...) and translated into German (also an authenticated translation). The final registration takes place during the introductory week.
