 BELGIUM

Loca Information

In the Walloon region, you speak French; in Flanders, Flemish; in Brussels, both; not forgetting the German-speaking enclave along the border of Germany, but you are not expected to be trilingual. The history of a changing Europe confers to Belgium a cultural richness without equal; magnificent cities, from Liège, comparable to a museum on water, to Brussels, mixing traditional and modern areas (thanks to the European Commission). The good humor of the Belgians is often surprising!
The proximity of cities gives easy access to all sorts of cultural and sporting events. There are famous dance companies, and sporting activities are well-developed in Belgium.
