Cost of living

Be careful the cost of living is very high in Denmark. You will be asked to prove that you have a financial resource of a minimum of 6,803 DKK (914 Euro : US $796) per month, which is 57,000 DKK per year.

Some useful prices (prices vary from one city to the next). Copenhagen is one of the cities where the cost of living is one of the highest in the world. Food is particularly very expensive.

Rent for a room in a university residence: 1,000 DKK - 1,500 DKK per month
Rent for a room in a private home:
1,700-2,900 DKK per month, 5,100 DKK per month for two rooms.
