Student Social Security : To be eligible for student social security you need to fulfill 2 conditions :
- Be less than 28 years old
- Be enrolled in an institution of higher education that is accepted by the social security
The cost of a student social security is approximately 1100FF (US$148.5 ;
€ 167.2) for the year 2000-2001.
Where to inscribe : For students, the social security is to be taken at the same time as inscription to the university/institution. Later on students can take a ‘mutuelle’ (which allows for 100% reimbursements). You can get a list of establishments offering the mutuelle etudiante at the time of inscription at the university.
