Degrees/Diplomas

Most universities in Hong Kong are accredited and their degrees are recognized world-wide. Hong Kong follows the British system of education. The degrees are known by the same names as their British counterparts like Bachelors degree in Arts, Commerce, Business Administration and Science, MBA etc.
Hong Kong provides opportunities for undergraduate and graduate degrees in about 40 programs/majors/options leading to a degree in fields of Arts, Business Administration, Science, Social Sciences, History, International studies, Cultural and religious studies, Accounting, Communication Sciences, Marketing, Psychology, Economics, finance, Law and social work.

Duration of Studies :
Undergraduate courses take between 3 to 5 years and graduate courses normally take up to 2 years

Transfer :
Credit units earned by students in another institution in approved subjects will normally be recognized for fulfillment of the total number of credits required for graduation.
Advanced standing may be granted to applicants in recognition of studies completed successfully elsewhere.

Admission Conditions :
The medium of instruction is English or Cantonese Non Cantonese speakers can choose courses in English. Applicants whose native language or whose medium of instruction is not English should submit TOEFL scores. For an MBA, GMAT is required in addition to a Bachelor’s degree.
Applications must be submitted 6 months before the commencement of the semester ( first semester — September; second semester — January)
