Health information
Street food is best avoided. Avoid drinking
water unless it is bottled or boiled. Food-wise anything
that is boiled or cooked or fried is safer than eating raw.
Always carry a kit of basic emergency medicines. Also keep
on person band-aids and antiseptic ointment.
Use sunscreen at all times to prevent sunburn.
Seek medical advice at least 6 weeks before traveling. Record
all vaccinations on an International Health Certificate.
Get vaccinated for Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Diphtheria
& Tetanus, Polio, Rabies, Tuberculosis, Malaria and
Meningococcal Meningitis.
Make sure that you have adequate health insurance.
