 ISRAEL

Applying

Information Contact
The overseas student’s first step is to contact the university he/she wants to attend, where he/she can get all the application procedure information and the specific admission requirements.
Almost all universities have a Departement for Overseas Students that provides specialized services to support international students : orientation, assistance with housing, counselling.
Most of the universities have affiliated offices abroad, which provide information and administer the application procedures for foreign students.

Fore more details, a list of the Israeli universities can be browsed on Israel’s Academic Web site: www.ac.il

Application Files
Application files are available at the Admission Office of Departement for Overseas Students in each university.
Usually, most of the universities mail up the application files to the students living abroad or forward them by the Internet.

Calendar
It’s recommended that foreign students start their inquiries a few months prior to the commencement of the academic year : at least 3 months before for the universities not requiring any entrance or language examinations, and 6 months before for the universities that require entrance exams.
