Visa information

Foreign students should secure an entry visa to Israel from the nearest Israeli embassy in their country.
Nationals of certain countries (France, Canada, USA, and UK) can obtain a Tourist Visa directly upon arrival at the airport in Israel. A list of these countries is available in all the Israeli embassies.

• Tourist Visa
Validity :
1 to 3 months fee : 17 US$
Required documents : Visa application form, valid passport, 2 passport-sized photos.
Delivery time : 3 weeks to 1 month

• Student Visa
Validity :
depending on duration of stay
Fee : 25 US$
Procedure & Required documents : 2 options-
1. Contact the Jewish Agency, which is in charge of all the administrative procedures
2. For those who prefer to do the formalities on their own, once they arrive in Israel they should apply for a student visa at the local bureau of the Israeli Ministry of Interior. This should be done before their tourist visa expires.

• Working Visa
Generally speaking, foreign students may work in Israel, provided they have an employment contract with an Israeli company. The Israeli employer should undertake the working permit application procedure.
