Cost of living

Mexico is an inexpensive country, especially for most Westerners.
Naturally the cities and the tourist areas along the coast are more expensive than the rural areas. The current rate of inflation is 18.6%.
Visitors should count on a daily budget of $20-30 for food and lodging (without luxury).
To obtain a visa, students are required to have minimum resources of $300 monthly.
