Finding accommodation

A number of possibilities exist for student housing.
An example at the Institute of Technology and Advanced Studies of Monterrey (ITESM):
The deadlines for reserving university housing are: end of April for the August to December semester and the end of October for the January to May semester.
It is important to know that the limit for staying in the student halls of residence is 36 hours following final exams.
Students are advised to know the conditions and internal regulations, sometimes quite strict, before making a choice. For example:
You must be present at 10:00 p.m., every day of the week. If you are outside the building, you will have to fill out a form.
Visiting hours are 7:00 a.m. to midnight.
The prefect is the person that oversees the building, and is responsible for the residents.
It is possible to work in the halls of residence as a guard, a receptionist, swimming pool caretaker, etc.
The cost for the semester August-December 2001 is $3,500.
