 NETHERLANDS

Finding a job

It is important to know that only citizens of the European Union have the right to work without a permit or any other limitations. All others must get a work permit called "tewerkstellingsvergunning" or TWV. You can then work a maximum of 10 hours per week between September and May and full time in June, July, and August.
It is very easy to find a job, especially part time. The Netherlands has the lowest rate of unemployment in Europe. Some typical areas: telemarketing, client service, sales, translation...there is a constant need for qualified personnel.

Information is available from the National Employment Office.
