 NORWAY

Inscription and fees conditions

For students who are not participating in an exchange program, you must contact the foreign students office at the university where you hope to study (at least six months before the start of the academic year). They will ask you to fill out a candidate application and if this application is accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance that will also be needed for the application of a visa.

Application deadlines are: 15 September for the fall (autumn) semester and 15 February for the spring semester.

To be able to register, you will need an examination code that you will get from your academic department. This code is equally registered in the student Catalogue which is available at the student office. If you do not have a Norwegian identity number (11 numbers) you will receive a registration number from the international students office. This number will be asked for at the time of your registration.

Once registration has taken place, you receive your semester card which must be kept with your Norwegian identity card (which has the Norwegian identity number).
