 PORTUGAL

Local information

Modern life without its drawbacks: the Portuguese prefer their delicious seafood to fast food!!. As students they actively participate in the night life of the cities, characteristic of Latin countries. The big cities have a wide variety of attractions: night clubs, theaters, movies, museums, etc. Be aware that beach attire is not very welcomed in the cities. Between the mountainous north and the more barren south, it's the south that offers a higher quality of life, but each region has its own appeal, traditions and folklore.

Climate:
The north has an Atlantic climate, the center has a transitional climate influenced by the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and the south offers a Mediterranean climate but with milder temperatures. The weather is nice from April to October and almost the whole year in the Algarve. Temperatures range from 18°C to 30°C.
Seasons:
Winter: December-March
Summer: June-September
