The period of candidature for a Master’s program is 1 — 3 years and a Doctoral degree takes between 2 — 5 years.

Universities of Singapore are specialized in undergraduate courses which include Architecture & Building, Arts and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Dentistry, Engineering, Law, Medicine and Science. The National Institute of Education offers a 4 year teacher training degree program which is the sole teacher training institute in Singapore.
