WELCOMING FOREIGN STUDENTS

Most universities have orientation courses for international students to introduce them to the curriculum, the student life at the university and to give a brief introduction about the culture od Singapore. The orientation is normally held a week before the term starts.

Programs designed for foreigners

There are 30 foreign system/international schools for expatriate students in Singapore. These schools are registered with the MOE but adopt the curriculum, examination system and media of instruction of their home countries.
Most international schools have an open admission policy but admission criteria can vary from school to school. Fees range from US $2900.00 to $US 5866.00 per semester for upper grade schools. The school year is divided in to 2 semesters and the school hours range from 8am — 3pm
