Finding a job
Foreign students who are full time undergraduates
of polytechnics and universities, for at least 1 semester
and who are not scholarship holders, are allowed to work
part-time during school term. The maximum period of employment
should not exceed 16 hours per week. However they need to
obtain permission from the student liaison/affairs office.
Each university/polytechnics has appointed/gazette 2-3 staff
to perform this function. During vacations, foreign students
are allowed to work full-time and are exempted to apply
work permits.
