Singaporeans respect those of age and seniority regardless of one’s ethnic background.
English in Singapore is a mish-mash of Singaporean inflections, syntax and grammar that takes some getting used to.
There are a number of expatriate cubs and associations in Singapore organizing events and celebrations unique to each community.
Prohibited items include chewing gum, pornographic materials, firecrackers and drugs.
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas and smoking in public is banned.
You will be fined for jay walking therefore do not cross streets where there are no pedestrian lights.
Singapore prides itself on cleanliness, so do not litter the streets!!!
