Medical Examination
Medical examination is required within the Study Permit application procedure.
It’s recommended that students contact the nearest South African embassy in their country to have more details.

Health Insurance
Student health insurance is mandatory for all students. The average cost is 125 ZAR (16 US$) per month.
The overseas students may contact the International Education Association of South Africa (IEASA) where they may benefit from health insurance plans specially negotiated for them.
