 SWEDEN

Finding scholarships

Swedish grants are reserved for Swedish students living in Sweden. Grants from Swedish Institutes are destined for students of doctoral level and researchers and cannot be granted for initial studies. www.si.se

Students participating in an exchange program benefit from a grant. Being awarded a grant usually means that you are exempt from application fees.

Furthermore, financial aids from the Swedish government (allowance and bank loans at reasonable interest rates) are also accessible to foreign students under the condition that they are permanent residents.
