 SWITZERLAND

Finding a job or internship

Most institutions have a University Employment Center that operates in conjunction with the professional counseling office. They can help find jobs during studies as well as upon graduation.
On the other hand, it is more difficult to find internships. Swiss companies offer relatively few opportunities for students, except for graduates of specialized schools.

Some Web sites useful for job research:
Curriculum SA — Job ads for Geneva and Lausanne
Internet Job — Research and employment offers in Switzerland
Portail Emploi — Job and site directories
Science Jobs in Switzerland — Database of science jobs
Top Jobs on the Net — Job offers and career opportunities in Switzerland
Salaries in Switzerland are fairly high.
