Finding accomodation

All universities in the UK offer two types of accomodation: 1. the Hall of Residence, accomodation that is catered with food from the university restaurant, and 2. self-catering accomodation, where you have to cook! All university accomodation supplies students with a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer).

In a medium size city, for one academic year it will cost you: from £1,682 ($2,523) to £2,667 ($4,000) to stay in the Hall residence and £1,243-2,275 ($1,865-3,412) to stay in self-catering accomodation.
