Inscription fees and conditions
Contact the "Vicerrectoría Académica"
or the offices "Admisión y Registro Académico".
Foreign students must take a Spanish language test to prove the
level of the Spanish language. Some universities also require
a good knowledge of the English language in order to be able to
apply.
Some universities offer the possibility of applying through the
internet.
Calendar :
For the first year "pregrado": the application
dates are from the last week of July to the first week of August,
for the first semester and during the first two weeks of February
for the second semester.
Required documents:
The original and a copy of bank payment of the registration fees
Registration form + photographs
Photocopy of an identification document
The original and a copy of the grades from the previous school
years
The original and a copy of the diploma awarded at the end of the
secondary education " bachiller "
The original and a copy of "Prueba Nacional de Aptitud Academica"
The original and a copy of the birth certificate
For the second and third year students:
"Maestrias" and "especializaciones":
The original and a copy of the university diploma
The original and a copy of certified grades
Class classification (ranking)
A 1000 word essay (describing ones interests, academic and professional
experiences, and reasons why the university should accept you
in the "posgrado"; professional objectives and if possible
the intended subject of research).
